Do you searching related sites for backlinking?

It is a confusing matter to me, what is related links actually mean? If I ask you what is related sites mean? The answer will be simple e.g., the sites having same business sites or you are dealing with are related site. Yes, I think exact what you answered. But the matter is that when I put my keyword in search engine it tells a different story. Yes, it brings out few related sites, but other than that the search engine brings out lots of sites which as no relation with my keyword. Why it is so? I have looking for answer of this question for few months. New I have got the answer and solution. In this article I will discuss about this.

Fast of all we have to realize the method or the technique which search follow. When we write a keyword in search engine, it does the following thing:

            1.  Looking for url related with the keyword

            2.  Looking for keyword in meta data of web sites (web page title, description, keyword etc.)

            3.  Looking for your keyword in content of web pages

            4.  Looking for pages that are linked with similar phases

            5.   Search engine searches

a.       with your keyword phase in that you inputted

b.      with your keyword phase in different orders

c.       with all the keyword phases individually

  than show result. So, all these sometime make the thing worse than good. I am not telling that its’ bad technique, there is no doubt that these are smart technique. But We the SEO people some time face difficulty with these type of results. Let’s give an example, who it make for SEO off page work. Suppose, I write “animal hospital in CA”. Search engine make result for:

1.       "animal hospital in CA"  in these order (this could be anywhere in url, meta data, articles )

2.       "animal hospital in CA" in different possible orders (this could be anywhere in url, meta data, articles )

3.       Animal

4.       Hospital

5.       In

6.       CA     

As you know sites that are related only with California or Hospital, are not sites you are looking for. Now you can imagine that makes the result often painful to us. For avoiding this you have to follow few things :

1.       Do not add area name with your keyword while searching.

2.       You can use double quotation ( " " )  for searching with any keyword.

Indeed it is very hard to find out related web sites. At that case you can look in forum, blogs, community etc. You can follow Advanced Search technique for searching in my blog. But if you thing it is just wasting of time just give-up searching related site and make links in regular sites. Regular links like Poul & Angela links can deliver result.
